Christi + Adam : Elegant Texas Wedding

With a classic color scheme and elegant vintage touches, Christi and Adam's wedding was truly a class act event. Held at scenic Elmwood Gardens in Palestine, Texas, the picture perfect location was just the right backdrop for the couple's sophisticated event. Details such as Christi's gorgeous brooch bouquet, the classic red rose centerpieces, and their chic ribbon wrapped cake combined with the charming location to create a romantic atmosphere that was beautifully captured by photographer, Brandi Burkett.

The classic case of opposites attract, Christi says, "I'm very talkative and he's really shy. I was a chatterbox on our first date and he barely talked. I got home and thought I will never hear from him again... five minutes later he sent me a text saying that our date was the most fun he'd had in awhile." What makes their relationship work is that "We're both very supportive of each other....we bring out the best in each other."

I asked Christi if she had any special stories to share about their engagement. She told me Adam proposed to her in the restaurant atop Reunion Tower in Dallas. "As soon as I said yes, he told me that he had called my dad to ask for permission to marry me. I loved that. I'm a huge daddy's girl so the fact that he included my dad brought me to tears. It was extremely sweet!"
