Maile + Gerry : Minerals Resort Wedding

Located in Vernon, New Jersey, part of the larger Crystal Springs Resort, the romantic venue perfectly reflected their personal style. As Maile told me, "It was a really easy choice for us. Color Palette : Sorbet Bliss

While "tangerine tango" may be the official color of the year, for spring weddings I'm thinking sorbet orange. This softer version of the popular power color is delicate and refined while still retaining the energizing qualities and radiant feel of it's bolder cousin. When mixed with other citrus inspired hues and refined by hints of classic gray - you have a color combo that's a sure win for the season.

For me, few colors are as delicate and refined as classic blush. It evokes a vintage quality and romantic feel that are so perfect as the backdrop for many wedding venues and themes. This inspiration board combines blush with classic ivory and gray for a timeless feel. From the rhinestone shoe clips to the conservatory reception venue and classic wedding cake design, the overall feeling is elegant and understated.

Bold is certainly beautiful, especially when combined in a way that reflects vintage style and bohemian charm. This inspiration board combines hues such as solar power yellow and sodalite blue from Pantone's spring fashion color report, with wedding classics like petal pink and red. Vanessa + Chris : Middle Ranch Wedding

Today we feature Vanessa & Chris who were married at Middle Ranch Lodge, located on a 650-acre horse ranch bordered by the Angeles National Forest. From the rustic elements in their flowers and decor to her simple strand of pearls and classic birdcage veil, it was an incredibly intimate wedding with a truly vintage touch.

Lace as been a favorite fabric choice of brides for generations. Though other materials have been more en vogue in recent years, 2012 is seeing a return to this wedding gown classic.
