Her hand felted pieces whisper quiet elegance and sophistication while maintaining a distinctly modern appeal. A financial specialist by trade, her natural creativity and her flair for fashion are perfectly put to use as an artisan of blissfully charming bridal-wear.

I am in love with this little shop. So. In. Love. I had the most ridiculous time trying to decide which photos to include in today's RE. Style feature. Marleen Carroll of Shabbyscrap creates one of a kind guestbooks, invitations, journals, scrapbooks, and more; all with a distinctively vintage chic look. Everything she creates is richly layered, gorgeously detailed, and incredibly charming.

I am so, so excited to introduce today's R.E. Style feature! The first time I saw Jason and Andie's creations my jaw literally dropped from complete amazement. Their Etsy shop, Andie's Specialty Sweets is a virtual wonderland of confectionery delights including edible embellishments and decorative candies. Stop by and marvel at expertly crafted edible sugar strawberries, exquisitely detailed chocolate filled candy seashells, art nouveau starburst lollipops, and statement jewelry that one can devour after wearing.Though Andie tells me otherwise, I imagine their candy-making kingdom to resemble something like Willie Wonka's factory... full of fantasy and whimsy.

The first time I happened across Jennie-Mae and Kristin's Etsy shop, Apropos Roasters, I was immediately stuck by the rustic charm and elegant simplicity of their hand tied wedding favors. I could nearly smell the rich coffee aromas and feel the comforting warmth of a cup in my hand - just from the photos alone. Trend Watch : Tutu Time

March is nearly here and spring and summer wedding plans are in full swing. While picking your gown and bridesmaid dresses are some of the biggest hurdles in the planning process, choosing your flower girl's sweet little frock can be a daunting task as well.

Trend Watch - Top Hues for Autumn 2011

Fall is by far my favorite season. I love the cooler weather, the holidays and events that come with it, and I adore the colors of autumn. While there are colors that are traditional for fall and for the holidays, we all know that the fashion industry has a mind of its own. But I'll have to say, I really like the trending colors for Fall 2011.

From Pantone's Fall Fashion Color Report

You have the typical browns, oranges, and yellows... but I love the pops of bright pink and blue, and the addition of the deep teal. While maybe not the most obvious color choices for autumn, I think they are beautiful together and are reflective of the colors you see in nature during this season. Jewel tones are also big this fall, and that makes sense as they are really just deeper, more saturated versions of these colors.
