Color Palette : Lemon Meringue
When I think spring I think lemon - as in fresh and citrusy, crisp and refreshing, light and delicious - like lemonade or lemon meringue pie. Today's color inspiration is all of those things and more - fresh, romantic, and full of vintage charm - perfectly made for spring and summer weddings. Sit back and take a bite of this scrumptious color palette!

Color Palette : Versailles in Spring
Think Versailles. Think Marie Antoinette. Think spring. That's the inspiration for the colors in this palette. Refined aqua plays against delicate coral - highlighted by the opulence of subtle gilding. The colors contrasting, yet in perfect harmony. This is a color palette that would have any bride feeling like a queen on her wedding day.

In the Details : Ribbon Wands
A bride always wants to make a memorable entrance, but the exit is just as important. Ribbon wands are a unique, whimsical, and colorful way to send the newlyweds off with a "wave of good wishes" - a term coined by Pebbles Catto, owner of Living a Fairytale.

Color Palette : Bride's Blush
For me, few colors are as delicate and refined as classic blush. It evokes a vintage quality and romantic feel that are so perfect as the backdrop for many wedding venues and themes. This inspiration board combines blush with classic ivory and gray for a timeless feel. From the rhinestone shoe clips to the conservatory reception venue and classic wedding cake design, the overall feeling is elegant and understated.

With spring and summer weddings just around the corner, more and more outdoor events will be held. What could be more enchanting or memorable than a gold kissed evening, family and good friends, elegant decor, and a radiant bride waiting to meet her groom?

Trend Watch : Hair and Makeup for 2012
I think these trends will be perfect for me this year! According to Stephanie Rosenbloom's article in the New York Times, " stiff coiffures, overdone eyes, defined lips and matte skin are out. Tousled hair, smudged eyeliner, dewy lips and luminous skin are in". As a business owner and mom of two toddlers with another baby on the way... I think I can do this. I know many of you can relate. Check out the article. I really do like the more relaxed look and think it is perfect for our wallets as well as our schedules!
