Jessica + Zach : Engagement Session

Jessica and Zach were brought together by tragedy, but prove that out of the most difficult situations, beautiful things can emerge. They started dating in high school, and have essentially grown up together. "We've been together through everything," Jessica told me. "The main inspiration for our engagement shoot was to allow the love we have for each other to show through in our pictures and to have images that really capture our relationship in a candid manner."

Zach and I have been together since 2003. We met while I was staying at my cousins house after mine had been damaged by a tornado. Zach lived down the street from her and the first time we met he was teepeeing her house.

On August 25, 2011 my best friend's boyfriend sent me a text asking me to call him. When I called he said he needed my help proposing to my best friend - he wanted me to meet him at the Skirvin Hotel in downtown Oklahoma City. But the following day when I got to the hotel, Zach was standing there and proceeded to get down on one knee to propose to me! He had clothes waiting for me and a limo pulled up and took us to dinner. It was the perfect proposal with the most amazing man I could ever ask for.
