Jaime + Nathan : Rustic Engagement Session

Take a gorgeous setting, add two beautiful people, throw in a talented photographer, and you have the perfect recipe for an amazing engagement shoot. Shot in Mt. Olive, Alabama, the rustic setting was perfect for Jaime, who grew up on a horse farm, and Nathan, a lifelong outdoors-man. "We wanted something very natural and organic, outside, and simple" said Jaime.

"When we were taking pictures near the creek, it actually started raining as we were dancing for the pics.  I thought that made for a beautiful setting and wonderful memory."

"Our engagement was a surprise – I knew he was getting close to picking up the ring, but I honestly thought it would happen a few weeks later.  He was insistent that he help me decorate my Christmas tree the day after Thanksgiving, which I did NOT want to do.  Each year, Nathan has given me a beautiful Christmas ornament for the tree.  He was picking me up to go to dinner with his family and brought me an early Christmas present, which was the Christmas ornament - so I wasn’t thinking anything.  Then, he recommended a PERFECT place for the Christmas ornament on the tree.  On that particular branch was my engagement ring.  He got down on one knee and proposed."
